We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and username when you create an account. We also collect transaction data, gift activity, and wallet history to operate the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments and withdrawals, send gift notifications via email and SMS, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Notifications
Registered users receive in-app notifications and emails for gift activity. Unregistered recipients may receive a single SMS notification when a gift is sent to their phone number. You can manage notification preferences in your account settings.
4. Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Paystack. tinyGift does not store your card details. Please refer to Paystack's Privacy Policy for information on how payment data is handled.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data with: Paystack (payment processing), Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Termii (SMS delivery). These are our service providers and they process data only on our behalf.
6. Public Profile
Your profile page at /u/[username] is publicly accessible. It shows your display name, username, bio, and your gift wall. You can control whether your username appears on gifts you send via Privacy Settings in your account.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and secure authentication via Supabase.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tinygift.ng.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification.
